We hold certified copies of all births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships which have taken place in Brent since 1837.

Use the 'do it online' forms on the right to request copies of certificates and pay for them by credit or debit card. The cost is £7 per certificate.

Check the event took place in Brent before requesting a certificate, as it takes some time to refund requests meant for other boroughs.

Look on property search facility or UpMyStreet.com to see if the address is in the borough.

We normally process applications within two working days (usually same day). Some historical searches may take longer. All responses are sent first class. You will be charged extra for international post, special delivery or guaranteed next day delivery.

If you supply an email address, a confirmation of your order will be sent to this. Information you give us will not be passed on to anyone else.
