The event will start at 2pm with the Rangoli competition at Ealing Road library, which will run throughout the afternoon, providing a fantastic opportunity to see this stunning Indian art form in detail.
There will be a funfair in Barham Park from 4pm to 9pm with lots of fun rides.
This year's parade will start after the light switch on ceremony outside Alperton tube station at 6.30pm and process along Ealing Road. There will be a combination of floats, musicians and dance performances along the route. The parade will lead the audience to Barham Park where there will be a fireworks display at 8.30pm.
This year there will be no music stage in Barham Park so as to allow people to celebrate Diwali with their families, enjoy the delicious food on offer along Ealing Road and gather together informally across the borough.
