Wasted Spaces Project

Wasted Spaces takes art outside of the museum and gallery walls. The project puts art in vacant shop fronts on high street locations, transforming empty and unloved spaces into exciting art experiences. Wasted Spaces is coming to Wembley soon so keep your eyes open!

Brent's empty shop fronts, neglected commercial windows and other unloved spaces will be cleaned up, and turned into a platform for emerging artists to showcase their work.

By taking art outside of the museum and gallery walls, traditional barriers between art and public will be broken, giving artists the chance to present their work to an entirely new audience.

The expression of interest for the Brent project is now closed. The Wasted Spaces team received an overwhelming amount of applications from fantastic artists.
