About Brent

Brent has a population of 256,000 and is proud to be one of the most culturally diverse boroughs in the capital; over 50 per cent of residents are from ethnic minorities and an estimated 90 languages are spoken in the borough. This is the place to experience the real London.  The area covers Kingsbury, Kilburn, Harlesden, Willesden and Wembley.

The excellent transport links which created Brent remain vital to the borough's prosperity. It is home to Park Royal, the largest Business Park in London.

Brent embraces the past, present and future. You can get a glimpse of what Brent was like 150 years ago by strolling in the meadows of Fryent Country Park and Brent's ancient history is reflected in Anglo Saxon place names recognisable today, for example, Wembalea means Wemba's forest clearing.

You can experience the present while shopping in Ealing Road or visiting a gastro pub in Kilburn High Road, but wherever you are the iconic Stadium arch, visible for miles,  symbolises Brent's exciting future.
