Town twinning

Town twinning developed mainly after the Second World War to promote mutual understanding and friendship. Brent is twinned with South Dublin County Council.

In April 2003, the Mayor and Mayoress of Brent paid an official visit to South Dublin to re-establish cultural, educational and common interest links between the two councils.
