Burial of those deceased abroad

If you wish to arrange a burial in Brent for a person who died abroad, you must obtain a death certificate issued from the country of their demise.

 

This is required by the Registration and Nationality Service, as they will need to issue a 'Certificate of No Liability' before the burial can take place.

 

There is no charge for this service.

 

Cremations of those who died abroad 

If you wish to arrange the cremation of a person whose death occurred abroad the local Coroners Office will need to be contacted.
