Secondary school admissions
Parents who live in Brent must apply to Brent Council for a secondary place in Year 7 for their child to attend a secondary school in or outside Brent.
School applications
If your child is born between the 1 September 2000 and 31 August 2001, you must apply for a secondary school place.

The secondary school admissions process is co-ordinated for all secondary schools across London and does not include independent/private schools.
There are 15 Brent secondary schools that offer places for children aged 11-19 years. These schools are split into three types:

- complete the Common Application Form (CAF) (.pdf, 371Kb)
The closing date for secondary transfer applications is 31 October 2011. If you have not applied for a secondary transfer, please complete a CAF as soon as possible.
