Brent Children and Families Information Service (CFIS) provides a family information service about childcare and services for young people. These include:
- choosing a childminder
- choosing a nursery
- out of school and holiday care
- help to pay for childcare
- careers involving work with children.
Our childcare sufficiency assessment is also accessed from this page, follow the link on the right hand side. This is particularly useful for those thinking of setting up a new service.

Children's centres activities lists
Children's centres in Brent all have timetables of fun activities, family learning, Citizen's Advice Bureau sessions and a wide range of health, special needs and parenting support which are changed regularly.
