Financial and student support

There are two key organisations offering financial support to students:

• Student Finance England

Student Finance England (SFE) deal with all higher education student finance. All applicants should apply by contacting SFE directly.

• The Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA)

EMA will help you to continue in education and get the qualifications you want. If you're 16, 17 or 18 and have left (or are about to leave) compulsory education, then it could be for you.

EMA students can receive up to £30 a week during term time to help with living costs. For more information and to apply contact EMA.
