Educational trips and outings

Brent schools follow the guidance issued by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) in relation to school visits and journeys.

These include the:

• health and safety of pupils on educational visits
• Standards for Local Education Authorities (LEAs) in overseeing educational visits.

The LEA has issued its own written guidance and schools are advised to use this alongside the DCSF guidelines.
