School holidays
There are school holidays mid-term and at the end of term. Usually a term will run for six consecutive weeks.
Occasional closure days
We have delegated to governing bodies the responsibility for determining the dates, following the advice of the headteacher, who will have consulted staff.
Local elections
Schools required to close for election purposes must use an occasional day.
