Students and young people are encouraged to get involved with the extensive range of clubs and activities that schools have to offer, which take place within the lunch hour and after school.
These include activities as diverse as art clubs, debating societies, the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, drama, chess, computer, maths, football and netball.
These activities are in addition to a wide range of musical, dramatic and sporting activities, which are already included in the curriculum.
Young people's organised activities
The Youth Service provides and supports a range of educational services and social activities for children and young people up to 25 years of age.
Through a variety of youth clubs, centres, specialist projects and adventure playgrounds, many run in partnership with local voluntary organisations. We offer children and young people organised activities, expeditions, visits and trips away from home.
For information on various sporting and physical activities available in Brent see the sports activities for children page.
