Choice Advice Service

Brent's Choice Advice Service offers parents and carers impartial and independent advice about the secondary school admissions process.

Choice Advice can help you by:

• listening to any concerns or difficulties you may have
• discussing the options available to you
• helping you complete a school application form, either online or on paper
• explaining the admission process for different secondary schools
• giving you information about how well schools are performing
• providing details about assistance with school transport
• letting you know about any specialisms a school may have
• giving you information about which schools have been oversubscribed in previous years
• advising you on how to apply for a school place outside Brent
• providing you with information about schools in your area
• telling you what you can do if you don't get your preferred school.
