| Description: | eCitizen provides citizens with the opportunity of self-registering on the Council’s website and subscribing to Council Services. Secure subscription uses a unique identifier and PIN, which can be created by the citizen or be provided by the Council in, for example, the form of a CRM ID, account number or GIS reference. Subscription to services allows citizens to access both personal account information and general information, while giving the Council the opportunity be pro-active in providing relevant information back. For example, a citizen may subscribe to view their council tax account balance, or be informed by email of a planning application within 50 meters of their house. |
