The Local Directgov Programme will enable citizens to access all local government services from one website - Directgov www.direct.gov. You will be able to select a service, specify your location and then be transferred to the most appropriate service page on the relevant local authority website. Details of the LDG programme are available from the local e-gov website. At present this facility is only available for local authorities in England.

The nationally funded Take-up Campaign has selected 16 key services in Phase 1 and 4 additional services in Phase 2 to promote via Directgov.

These 20 services are available to select from any Local Authority page on the eGR website. Select the service, press Go and you will be transferred to the appropriate webpage on that authority's website. This facility makes use of the LDG white label redirection system.
