Tender information

The eGR database holds information about tenders for e-Government related products by local authorities which are published in the OJEU tender database or in the UK computer media such as Computing or Computer Weekly. See the Tenders menu page for details. We publish this data to make the overall eGR information as useful as possible but we do not guarantee that this data is necessarily complete or accurate. For each tender we try to show :

Title of the tender (we may abbreviate this if it is long)
Name of the authority which published the tender
Product types (this is our categorisation against what we consider to be the relevant eGR product types. It will result in email alerts)
The source (either OJEU or the printed media with its date and page number)
OJEU tender ID (link to the relevant OJEU record)
The closing date (this is the OJEU Deadline date or the specified closing date in printed media. See note below*)
Description (this is copied from the OJEU record or usually left blank if the source is printed media)
LA contact (normally we simply refer you to the OJEU record but for printed media we try to include a phone number)
Other information (normally left blank unless there are some unusual circumstances)
Comment (normally left blank unless there is something relevant)
Awarded to (name of the organisation winning the tender if known)
Award date (date tender awarded if known)
OJEU award ID (link to OJEU award data if known)

* Closing date : There can be various closing dates during the tender process. We try to show the earliest date at which you need to submit something to the process. For adverts in the press we will take whatever is the earliest date specified. For OJEU contract notices in the past we used the DT Deadline field (which normally equates to the date in Section IV 3.4 of the Contract Notice) but as from October 06 we will take the earliest of any dates specified in either Section IV 3.3 or 3.4.

N.B. please remember that we do not guarantee that all tenders will be reported or that the data we display is correct and we accept no liability for any errors. You are advised to read the source data for the tender either in OJEU or the printed media for the definitive specification. You might wish to subscribe to third party tender information services if awareness of forthcoming tenders is critical.

Exclusions: We do not create tender records for Prior Information Notices, for products which lie outside the scope of our product categories or notices submitted by any organisation other than a UK local authority.
