eGovernment Register

Email alerts

An email alert facility is available for the following types of record -

From any What's New, Local Authority, Supplier, Product, Product Type or Tender page you can select an option to subscribe to the email alert facility for that type of record. You will be asked to enter your email address and to submit the request. You will then receive an email whenever there are new items or any changes relating to that item. The system checks for these changes each night and sends you an email whenever there are any appropriate updates to report.

You can unsubscribe to a particular type of alert at any time by returning to the appropriate page, entering your email address and ticking the Unsubscribe box.

You can request a list of all your subscriptions by ticking the Request Subscriptions box and this will be emailed to you.

From 30 August 2007 emails will be in HTML format by default. You can switch to plain text (or back again) by using the link at the bottom of any email alert. The required format will be applied automatically to all your email alert subscriptions.

See the CRM Product Type page or News Email Alert as examples.

* Note that local authorities are only required to go to public EU tender for procurements over £145k (and tenders conducted via OGC Catalist are not in the public domain at all) so while some Product Types may have many tenders (e.g CRM or EDM) others may have none that we are aware of. See the list of Tenders by Product Type.

Note that if you subscribe to changes for a specific Product Type this will include Tenders for that type as well. If you subscribe to Tenders for the Product Type then you will only receive the Tender information.

If we get mail returned as undeliverable for over a month we will delete all the email alert subscriptions for that address.

RSS feeds are also available for news and tenders - see http://www.brent.gov.uk/egr.nsf/docsbytitle/RSS
