Local Government reorganisation April 2009
On 1 April 2009 a significant change occured for local government in England when several local authorities (county and district councils in most cases) were absorbed into new unitary authorities.
The eGov Register will continue to show the old authorities for a while after 1 April but all the product usage records for these LAs will be deleted. Where an authority has become the new unitary then its previous product usage records will be retained until they can be reviewed and updated.
