| IDeA guidance: | To fulfil this requirement councils will need to enhance the system described in R1, above, to enable not only the process of application but also to provide parents and carers with information to assist them in deciding which school to choose. That will involve supplying support information about school performance, school prospectuses and other support information such as admission criteria, and making that information available either as web pages, and/or as additional information for staff handling telephone or personal callers.
Counties should research and provide the information as above but also make it available to districts. |
