| IDeA guidance: | This outcome is a voluntary one agreed by high performing councils as part of the IEG3 grant claim process.
To fulfil this requirement councils will have to be able to track citizen participation and contact with all consultation systems. These should include registration for email and text alerts on nominated topics.
Councils will also need to include in their periodic citizen surveys a customer satisfaction question on “ability to engage with the council in public consultation”, baseline the response, and set a target for improvement. |
