Out of hours service
Outside of office hours Brent Environmental Health provides a service for noise, smoke and light nuisance. We also provide a service that is never closed to deal with the imminent and significant public health risks only.
For example this would include:
- an infectious disease notification from a GP, hospital or official
- food poisoning affecting people from more than one family or household
- incidents requiring immediate treatment by a doctor
- major pollution incidents
- contact from government, public bodies and 'blue light' services
- contact from another Brent Council stand-by officer.
We can be contacted through the Council's main switchboard 020 8937 1234
For example this would exclude:
- an infectious disease notification from a member of the public
- food poisoning incidents only affecting people from the same family or household
- minor incidents requiring no immediate treatment by a doctor
- noise, smoke and light nuisances as we have a dedicated out of hours service for this
- requests for pest control treatments
- requests for the removal of animal carcasess including rodents
- enquries about lost or found animals
- removing hypodermic syringes on the highway or council land or property
- removing abandoned vehicles
- refuse or dumped rubbish.
