Elections - postal and proxy votes

Postal Votes

You can apply for a postal vote at any time but your completed application form must be received at the latest 11 working days before an election for it to be valid for that election.

Postal Votes will be sent out 14 days before the election.

Postal vote application forms are person specific so there is no general form available online.

Proxy Votes

A proxy vote allows a voter to appoint someone to vote on his or her behalf. The deadline for receiving proxy applications is 6 working days before an election for it to be valid for that election.
