The Brent Fun Run and Walk takes place every year in September in Fryent Country Park, a nature reserve in the heart of Brent on an off road grass route which is relatively flat and is ideal for beginners, families and regular runners alike.

You can enter on your own and meet people on the day, or take part with friends, work colleagues, school friends or family.

Spectators are also welcome at the event.

How to take part

The entry form and details about where to send it and what fee to include will be posted nearer the time.

About the 1.5km walk

The 1.5km (1 mile) walk is open to everyone over the age of five years. The walk will be a circular route within the park. Sturdy footwear should be worn. All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult. The 1.5km is a walk not a run.

About the 5km run/walk

The 5km (3 miles) run/walk is open to anyone over 15 years of age. The route will be twice round a circular route of 2.5km, taking in some views you would not believe existed in the Brent. Running or training shoes should be worn. There will be a cut off time for runners and walkers to finish.
