Brent Archives will be moving to Willesden Green Library in Summer 2009 and will close from the 18 May to enable this move to happen. We will be unable to deal with enquiries and take in donations during this time due to the move. We apologise for any inconvenice this may cause. Watch this space for a re-opening date!

Brent Archives can help you find out more about the local area and its history.

We hold old photographs, postcards, local newspapers dating back to 1870, historical maps and electoral registers. We also have reference books, building plans, street directories and council minutes. We can help with your family history and offer resources for educational projects based on the local area. If you have a detailed enquiry you would like help with, it is best to book an appointment.

Access to Brent Archives is free and we will endeavour to assist in you conducting your own research. However, if you are unable to visit or wish us to carry out your research for you there will be a charge. Please contact us for further information.
