Brent Museum collects and records the history of Brent and the people who live here in the form of objects and oral history.

Brent Museum temporary exhibition
Brent Museum's temporary exhibition is
'Greenopaedia: Handy Hints on Going Green'.

The exhibition aims to inform the public about environmental issues in a fun and engaging way. The bubbly character Professor Planet personifies green living and explains how visitors can save money and make a difference in their communities.

Learn interesting facts about the planet, and cultures living in harmony with nature.
Find out how to save money by reducing waste, recycling, and making your home more energy efficient.
Discover what the Borough of Brent is doing to go green and how you can get involved in your neighbourhood.
See what individuals and community groups are doing to promote greener living.

The exhibition features council services and community groups that are all working to improve the local area. It also highlights natural spaces in Brent, such as the Welsh Harp and the Fryent Country Park.

The exhibition runs from 23rd May 2008 until 2nd November 2008.

Bicentenary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade 1807-2007

Brent Archive
Brent Archive holds a collection of maps, photographs, pamphlets and other ephemera about Brent and is continually collecting information.

Professor Planet

To mark the bicentenary of the abolition of the slave trade in 1807, Brent Heritage Services have produced a list of internet sources on the history of slavery. View the source material.

WHEEC
The Welsh Harp Environmental Education Centre promotes the conservation and appreciation of the local environment.
