Brent residents can get rid of any clutter and unwanted Christmas presents and pick up anything they might need as part of a 'stuff for free' project.
From 12 to 22 January residents and businesses can bring along any unwanted items which are still in a good enough condition for others to use such as books, furniture and other household items; and drop off any unwanted broken electrical items which will be recycled by DHL Envirosolutions.
The goods can be dropped off at Vision 15, a warehouse on Kendal Avenue, Acton, near to the A40 from 8am to 12noon or 9am to 3pm on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 January.
The goods will be sorted by volunteers and from 27 to 29 January from 9am to 3pm at the same venue anyone can come along and take any items they want for free.
Items that will not be accepted include food and drink, plants, tyres, gas canisters, fire extinguishers and needles.
The stuff for free project is being run by the environmental charities Healthy Planet and Furnish and is supported by the West London Waste Authority.
