Inset day activities

Stuck for ideas on what to do on inset days? We are pleased to announce that alongside our school holiday activity days we will now be running activity days on selected inset days throughout the school year.

Inset day activities coming up:

• Friday 10 February 2012 - Survival Day
• Monday 20 February 2012 - Survival Day and Animal Day 
   

Proposed Gordon Brown Centre Survival Weekend

We are hoping to run two survival weekends in March for parents and children to come and enjoy the centre and some of the activities we have to offer.

The dates proposed are 10 and 11 of March and 31 March and 1 April.

The weekend would involve activities such as fires and cooking, shelter building, archery and our low ropes course with a campfire and roasting marshmallows on the Saturday evening. An evening meal Saturday and cooked breakfast Sunday would be provided. Groups can bring their own tents or hire one from the centre.

If anyone interested in attending one of the weekends please contact our office so we can get an idea of numbers.
