As part of our customer contact improvement programme, the One Stop telephone service is updating its system.
From 7 April 2008 we are introducing changes to the way we initially respond to calls on our general information line, 020 8937 1200 and the council tax line, 020 8937 1790.
Customers will be given a series of options to choose from in order to connect them to the most appropriate customer service officer.
The initial part of this service is automated, however we guarantee that all customers will have the option of speaking to a member of staff or to leave a message.
We will be conducting a customer feedback survey one month after the start of these service changes to monitor the improvements.
