Transfers for council tenants

If you are an existing Brent Council tenant wishing to move to another property you may be eligible for a transfer.

Eligibility

You can apply for a transfer regardless of how long you have been a tenant or whether or not you have any rent arrears.

However, you would not qualify for an offer if you fall into one of the following categories:

  • you have not held your tenancy for at least twelve months
  • you are in arrears in excess of six weeks gross rent

Locata logoOnce you have completed your transfer application form please return it to Brent Housing Partnership or any One Stop local office.

They will check the details you have given and forward the form to us. Once your application has been accepted you need to start bidding for a property using the Locata scheme.

We will contact you if your bid is successful.
