Air Conditioning at Preston Library

We have noted your comments and they will be considered for any future upgrades to the building.

 

Our 24 hour automated telephone renewal line. Using this line is more expensive, Can't I leave a message?

This has been introduced to provide an efficient service for customers to renew their items, find out our opening hours, check their reservations and the items they have on loan. The telephone number we use is 0115 929 3388 charged at a national not a premium rate. You can also renew items online at http://library.brent.gov.uk. You can call our libraries during opening hours if you wish to speak to a member of staff.

 

Being unable to renew an item reserved by another customer

As customers who reserve items usually want the items as soon as possible it is our policy not to renew reserved items.

I can't find the book I want on the shelves. The range of fiction isn't wide enough

We are now part of the London Libraries Consortium. This makes the stock of 11 other Library services available to our customers through our online catalogue. This gives our customers a much wider range of stock to choose from.

 

It's too cold at Cricklewood Library

We are investigating ways to improve the heating at Cricklewood.

 

Noise in our libraries

We do not operate a silence policy in Brent Libraries, so the library can be enjoyed by everyone. However we do ask that all our customers use the library with consideration for others. Please tell the staff if you experience problems with noise and they will take further action if necessary.
