Interactive maps

tMaps provides an easy to use mapping system where you can specify a postcode to see the nearest locations, choose between Google, Microsoft or Ordnance Survey formats, select map or satellite views, link back to a relevant web page for more information and there is a text alternative for accessibility.

You can select the map that you want by typing its name in the search box or selecting a main category and then the type of map.

The council also uses GIS Ordnance Survey maps which provide greater precision and extra features such as layers and boundaries. This system is currently being replaced and will be available online in the future.

Some of the mapping data is available in KML format for re-use – see the Open Data database.
