Events in the museum for adults

Brent Museum and Brent Archives deliver a wide range of free events for adults, so whether you like to watch and listen or get involved, there is something for you.  Unless stated, events take place in the Exhibition Gallery on the first floor of Willesden Green Library Centre.

Philip Grant, local historian and resident, leads a walk of 1.5 to 2 miles (including hills) looking at a variety of the homes designed by Ernest Trobridge. Leaving Kingsbury Library Plus at 2pm.

Philip Grant, local historian and resident, leads a walk of 2 to 2.5 miles (including hills), looking at some more of the varied homes designed by Ernest Trobridge.   Leaving Kingsbury Library Plus at 1pm.

"You're the artist"
Led by artist Sally Hampson, create a piece of your own art work inspired by the exhibition, learning how to colour mix and create textures with unusual materials.

Alan Powers from the University of Greenwich presents the history of Thorpeness, Suffolk, a unique holiday village in Tudor style, contemporary with the work of Ernest Trobridge.
