Queensbury neighbourhood bulletin 7We produce a twice-yearly Neighbourhood Bulletin delivered to all homes in the ward to keep you informed about how we and our partners are working together to improve services and address issues you have told us are important.

Walkabout with councillors

A walkabout around the De Havilland Estate area was held on Saturday 25 June. The following issues were raised:

  • use of pocket park in De Havilland Estate for football, causing noise and lack of privacy
  • lack of parking space
  • lack of space for children to play.

Another walkabout was held around the Rose Bates Drive area on Wednesday 13 July. Several people commented that the Rose Bates Drive estate is friendly with a real sense of community. Some of the key issues raised by residents were:

  • lack of parking space
  • not enough for children and young people to do
  • the pocket park needs some attention
