Parks and open spaces

Brent has more than 1,000 acres of public open space, including Fryent Country Park and the Welsh Harp reservoir, as well as formal Victorian parks such as Gladstone Park and Roundwood Park.

We design, build, and maintain all the parks and their different features. We also consult on nature conservation, tree surgery and security services as well as managing events and renting out sports facilities and allotments.

There are around 100 parks and open spaces in Brent. Some are recreation grounds others are classed as open spaces or sports grounds.

We also run the Brent Countryside Day, a family day out in Fryent Country Park that is full of activities and the Brent in Bloom competition.
