Regeneration Projects
Regeneration covers a wide range of activities including housing improvement, renewal and redevelopment of the urban environment, and reducing unemployment. Our regeneration programmes tackle economic, social and environmental deprivation across Brent, and aim to enhance the quality of life and prosperity of all Brent residents.
Regeneration is one of our key priorities as stated in our 2006-2010 Corporate Strategy.
Our 20-year Regeneration Strategy 2001-2021 sets out our long-term vision for Brent around five key regeneration priorities.
We have been awarded Beacon Status twice for our regeneration work - for Neighbourhood Renewal in 2002 and for Removing Barriers to work in 2003. Visit the Beacon Scheme website for more information.
