Employment advice

Lowering unemployment is a key part of our regeneration strategy.

To combat unemployment and low skill levels we have established a successful employment initiative called Brent in2 Work that works closely with local employers to provide unemployed residents with training, skills and work opportunities.

The project has outreach offices in St Raphaels and Church End and also runs a Language to Work project. This project offers a six weekly basic English language course to support residents with language barriers into employment.

BOSS, the Building One Stop Shop, is a specialist organisation that provides training, employment and advice for the construction industry to meet individual needs.

Refugees Into Jobs is a groundbreaking initiative helps refugees into work. It provides a range of services from advice and guidance through to training grants and support once in work.
