Opening hours

The service is open seven days a week by appointment. We are open:

• Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
• Saturday 9am to 4pm
• Sunday 9am to 1pm
  

Please contact the service in advance to make an appointment:

• to register a birth
• to register a death
• to register your notice of intent to marry or join in civil partnership
• for a correction of a birth, death, marriage or civil partnership entry
• for a re-registration of a birth (Monday to Friday only)
• Nationality Checking appointment (Monday to Saturday only)
• Citizenship ceremony (Tuesdays and Thursdays - if you wish to have a private ceremony on different days or not at ceremony times there is a fee charged for this service)
  

If you need a copy of a certificate, are booking a wedding or civil partnership date or making a nationality or citizenship ceremony appointment you can also walk in during our advertised hours.

Burial on bank holidays 

If you require urgent burial during bank holiday closures, a registrar is on standby between 8am and 10am. Our out of office telephone message provides the mobile number which should be contacted. 

Registrar at Central Middlesex Hospital

A registrar is based at the hospital Monday to friday only for the registration of births and deaths by appointment and can be contacted on 020 8965 2106.

Change of hours
 We will be closed on:

•  6th December 2011 - Full Closure 
• Details of our Christmas and New Year opening hours. 

The Register Office will be closed one morning every other month for staff training and development.
