Planning and building control

PlanIf you want to do any building work or alterations you may need planning permission from us and it will only be granted if the work is in line with what is allowed in Brent.

Each application is judged against our planning policies in our Unitary Development Plan (UDP) and the newer Local Development Framework.

Building Control makes sure that what is built is safe and efficient.
