Brent Sports Service is commited to the London 2012 Games and continues to promote the games through organising and holding sports and physical activities across the borough.
July 2009 saw the return of the London 2012 Open Weekend in Brent with celebrations covering the arts, culture, sports and everything that made up the London 2012 Games. A number of sports and arts facilities across the borough were opened to the community to participate in London 2012 inspired arts, culture and sporting activities.
