Green Zones has been shortlisted for the Future Friendly Awards!
Our project is one of only 5 to be shortlisted and we are the only London based project. Voting is all done online by members of the public with the most popular project winning the award. The Green Zones scheme has been successful in its bid to the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) for Brent to become one of six 'Zero Waste' places nationwide.

Stanley Avenue has become the latest road to qualify for the Green Zones scheme. It is the largest Green Zone in Brent to date, with 75 households taking part in the survey, thanks to the hard work of a local resident. This brings the overall number of Green Zones to five.
