Graffiti removal
Keeping the highways clear of litter, street furniture clean and property free of graffiti is a responsibility shared by the council, residents and all who use our services.
We want you to feel good about the area you live and work in. We aim to provide good quality streets which are free from litter and other enviro-crimes, easy to travel around and help to make Brent a desirable place to be.
Illegal graffiti is unattractive and it has been linked to an increase in the fear of local crime. Our job is to removal illegal graffiti from commercial and residential properties.
We will: - remove offensive graffiti within 24 hours of receiving a report. However if it is reported late on Friday afternoon it may not be removed until Monday.
'Offensive' graffiti can be defined as graffiti which is or contains: - foul language
- language of a politically/ racially/ religiously insulting/ inciting nature
- a hate statement
- an image which is graphically explicit
- an image which is visually offensive or textually offensive by the message that it contains
- clear any other reported graffiti within six weeks of receiving a report
- provide an annual first time free graffiti removal service to all owners or occupiers of residential or commercial property in Brent. Additional removals will be subsidised at a 50 per cent rate. Please contact StreetCare to arrange a quote.
