Garden and kitchen waste

Garden and kitchen waste accounts for much of the household waste that is produced. When this is collected it can be turned into compost for use in the garden. Composting is a natural process that occurs when degradable materials breakdown.

By collecting your garden and kitchen waste for compost we are diverting waste from being buried in the ground in a landfill site. This is especially important with organic biodegradable waste as it is a producer of methane gas. Methane gas is a greenhouse gas which is contributing to global warming.
