Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)

Responsibility for the disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is placed on the manufacturer and retailer.

If you have unwanted WEEE you can take it to the retailers that are part of the 'take back scheme'. They can also make arrangements to collect items from you. Companies are required to process the collected waste in an environmentally-friendly manner, either by ecological disposal or by reusing.

Where else can I take WEEE?

You can take WEEE to our Reuse and Recycling Centre and we also provide a bulky waste service

Computers

Mac and PC equipment (towers/laptops) can be taken away by us in a special collection. Call 020 8937 5050 for details.
