Estate recycling collections

We strongly encourages its residents to reduce, re-use and recycle their waste.

If you live on an estate, recycling bins are now at many blocks of flats. Simply separate your recyclables and sort them into the correct bin.

We will:

• work in partnership with Brent Housing Partnership (BHP) and Veolia (our waste and recycling contractors) to set up estates recycling bins
• ensure that estate recycling bins are emptied on a regular basis.

You can help by: 

bringing the following items to recycle in your estate bins 
 

• glass - green, brown and clear glass bottles and jars
• metal - cans, tins, aluminium foil and aerosols (except paint spray cans)
• paper - newspaper,magazines, telephone directories and junk mail
  

• contacting us on 020 8937 5050 to request estates recycling bins on your estate. An officer will visit your estate or block and assess the possible sites. The officer will then work with you and your neighbours to install estate recycling bins.
