Wembley regeneration

Wembley is already a special part of London with a particular place in the nation's affections. Famous as the venue for England's historic 1966 World Cup win, it is home to a National Stadium which hosted the 1948 Olympic Games and is a venue alongside Wembley Arena for the 2012 London Olympics . It is a year round visitor destination in its own right.  The stadium's largely industrial land provides a rare opportunity for an ambitious regeneration programme.
