Granville Plus Youth Arts Centre is working on the 'Insights' project which raises young people's awareness of career opportunities within visual arts, and create a portfolio of work.
We have organised two trips for young people to work with professional artists. Here, they can develop their graphic design techniques and gain an insight into university courses which specialise in visual arts.
The trips are scheduled for the following dates:
Camden Arts Centre
Thursday 18 February (11am - 6pm)
Central St Martin College of Art and Design
Friday 19 February (10am - 5pm)
There will be no costs for the trips, travel expenses and lunch/refreshments will covered, however young people under the age of 18 will need parental consent to participate.
Consent forms need to be returned to Granville Plus Youth Arts Centre by Monday 15 February.
Granville Plus Youth Arts Centre continues with another month of completely free arts, dance, music and fashion classes.
Rockstars in training can improve their guitar-playing and singing, budding designers can learn about the business side of the fashion world, and there's a range of physical exercise classes - from Taekwondo to street dance.
To find out dates and times, view the February 2010 flyer (.pdf, 136Kb).
