Brent Youth Service is part of the council's Children and Families Department based at Bridge Park.
Quality and Monitoring
Brent Youth Service is committed to improving and developing its services to ensure that all young people in Brent who wish to take part can be assured of receiving a high quality of service in its curriculum, staffing and facilities.
Youth workers carry out daily evaluation of sessions and report every three months on the number of young people who have attended the projects managed or resourced by the maintained sector of the Service.
Partnerships
Youth Services have traditionally operated as a partnership between Council maintained and voluntary managed youth groups. Brent continues to develop its links with the voluntary sector and any other organisation or agency which is seeking to address the informal education and welfare needs of young people in Brent.
In recent years, successful projects have been developed with various organisations including housing associations, Police, Probation Servce, schools, Social Services Primary Care Trust and Connexions.
