Employment Gaps Roundtable Event - 28 June 2019 Brent Civic Centre

Brent Council would like to invite you to attend an event they hosting for employers on 28th June to mark UK Employability Day 2019. We are partnering with the Forward Trust to bring together organisations from across London who want to help close employment gaps by supporting disadvantaged people to enter, sustain or progress in work. We are particularly keen that local employers attend and get involved.

This February, over 400 guests will be attending the West London Business Awards ceremony and gala dinner. The Awards celebrate business excellence, and showcase the innovation and entrepreneurial dynamism within the sub-region's remarkable business community.

Winners from the five clusters of categories (see below) as well as the overall West London Company of the Year 2019, will be announced at the awards ceremony on Friday 8 February at Twickenham Stadium.

Boxpark on its way to Wembley

A trendy pop-up mall is set to open in Wembley later this year, after receiving the backing of Brent Council. Boxpark - which already has sites in Shoreditch and Croydon - will open later this year on a former car park site at the corner of Fulton Road and Olympic Way.
