Alperton Regeneration

Alperton Growth Area has been identified as being a suitable location in Brent for the construction of new homes to meet the demands of population growth and the shortage of housing. As well as providing over 3,500 new homes, it is also an opportunity to provide a major boost to business and employment opportunities. Alperton is a designated Housing Zone, accelerating the delivery of new homes, including affordable housing’ – our policy stipulates 50% affordable housing target.

Alperton has been designated as a Housing Zone by the Mayor of London, accelerating the delivery of new homes, including affordable housing’ – our policy stipulates 50% affordable housing target. Schemes include 243 Ealing Road (440 new homes), 255 Ealing Road (128 new homes) and Minavil House (251 new homes).

Alperton, along with Wembley, is seeing an emerging cluster of creative studios taking shape. Potential and secured future provision in the area will build upon this emerging trend; creating additional workspace options for creative businesses.

Affordable workspace has been secured through S106 agreements in several of the developments that have secured planning permission. The first of these spaces to be occupied will be 243 Ealing Road, where Artist Studio Company will be managing 1,000 sqm workspace and offering creative studio spaces with a priority for local residents.
