Description
The subject property was the former Preston Park Bowling Club. It comprises of an 886 ft2. Club Pavilion and over 19,881 ft2 of green open space. The single storey, flat roofed pavilion is brick built and a south facing glazing with a view of the bowling green, which maximising good quality natural lighting within the building.
The site has the potential for several leisure related uses subject to obtaining the relevant planning consent.
A car park is available for park users adjacent to the Western entrance at St. College Road and is around 5 minutes walk from the pavilion.
Condition
The former Bowls Club Pavilion is internally dated and requires upgrading but appears to be in generally satisfactory order. The ingoing occupier should review the condition of the property through their own enquiries with a builder.
The outdoor area has been well maintained but will be the new tenant’s responsibility to maintain it in the future.
